01 · Templates

Start your text animation from a template

App launches, product walkthroughs, game ads, sale ads and more. Pick one, add your screenshot or your words, and make it yours.

02 · Why Motion AI Video

Edited precisely, not re-rolled

Change it, don't re-roll it

Say what to change, or pick one shot on the timeline. Edits create a new version, with timeline selection available to focus the requested change.

Your screenshot stays exact

Text, UI and logos come straight from your image and move as it is. AI video models redraw them and blur the words.

Every frame is code

Claude Opus 5.5 writes the motion graphics frame by frame: exact timing, text and colours, rendered to a sharp 1080p MP4.

03 · How it works

How to make animated text with AI

01

Add a screenshot or a sentence

Drop in an app screenshot, game screen, product photo or poster and use it as a visual reference for code-based motion. The image can move, scale or be cropped; objects are not automatically separated into layers. No image? Describe the motion graphics in words.

02

Watch it get made

Claude returns a storyboard and animation code, which your browser previews and exports as an MP4. Generation time varies with the request and image inputs.

03

Change any part, then export

Ask for changes in plain words, select a shot to focus the edit, compare saved versions, and download a 1080p MP4.

04 · Effects

Animated text and title effects you can ask for

You can't ask for an effect you've never seen. Watch each one, then pick it in the Studio or copy its wording into your own prompt.

  • Text

    Letter drop

Letters fall in one by one and land with a small bounce. The classic showreel opener.

letters drop in one by one from above with a slight overshoot bounce
  • Text

    Masked rise

Each letter slides up from behind an invisible line, as if pushed out of the floor.

each letter rises from behind a hidden baseline mask, staggered
  • Text

    Typewriter cursor

Text types itself out with a blinking block cursor. Good for taglines and tech intros.

the line types out character by character in a monospace font with a blinking block cursor
  • Text

    Stretch slide-in

A word shoots in from the side, stretched wide, and snaps back to its normal width.

the word slides in from the right stretched wide and snaps to its normal width
  • Text

    Squash and stretch

Text falls with weight, squashes on impact, then settles. Makes type feel physical.

the word falls from above, squashes on impact and springs back like a heavy object landing
  • Text

    Outline echo

Outlined copies of a word ripple outward behind the solid word. Instant depth.

outlined copies of the word expand outward like ripples behind the solid word
  • Text

    Decode scramble

Random characters flicker and lock into the real word from left to right.

the word resolves from random flickering glyphs into the final text, left to right
  • Transition

    Skewed wipe

A slanted colour bar sweeps across the screen to cut between two scenes.

06 · Under the hood

Why your text and UI stay sharp

AI video models paint every frame as pixels, so they redraw your interface, blur small text and give you a new random take each time you ask for a change. That's fine for live-action scenes, and wrong for a product video.

Code-based animation works the other way. In Motion AI Video, Claude Opus 5.5 writes code that animates your uploaded image and renders typography and shapes frame by frame. Your image remains available as a visual reference, and chat edits create a new version that you can review.

Curious how that works? Read about the Opus 5.5 video generator, or just try the example in the Studio.

08 · FAQ

Motion graphics FAQ

01

What is a text animation generator?

A text animation generator turns typed words into animated video without a timeline editor. You write the text, describe the motion you want in chat, and export a 1080p MP4. Motion AI Video renders every frame as code, so your text and UI stay perfectly sharp and you can change one line without re-rendering the whole clip.

02

What is Motion AI Video?

A motion graphics generator you can edit precisely. Turn a screenshot, a product photo or one sentence into motion graphics (an app promo, a game ad, a product launch, a data story), then change any part by telling Motion AI Video what you want. Export a 1080p MP4.

03

Can I turn my own screenshot into motion graphics?

Yes. Add a screenshot, game screen, product photo or poster and say what should move: spin the wheel, pop the reward, draw the chart, sweep a shine across the bottle. Claude uses the uploaded image as visual input when writing animation code. The product does not automatically isolate people or objects into separate layers. If a generation is marked failed before a video is saved, its credits are returned automatically. You can use up to four images in one video; the first adds 60 credits and each more 20.

04

How do I change just one part?

Type the change, like "make the headline bigger" or "slow the chart down". Edits create a new version. To focus a change, pick a shot on the timeline and describe the requested edit in chat. Every version is kept, so you can compare or go back.

05

How are code-based animations different from AI video generators like Sora or Veo?

Video models generate pixels, while Motion AI Video uses code for typography, shapes and timing and can use your image as a visual reference. The result may vary with your prompt, so review each saved version. For live-action or realistic people, a video model is the better tool.

06

What kinds of motion graphics can I make?

App launch videos, product walkthroughs, mobile game ads, flash-sale ads, logo reveals, kinetic typography, explainers, data stories and 9:16 social posts, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, up to 30 seconds.

07

Which AI makes the motion graphics?

Claude Opus 5.5 plans and writes every video. See how it works on our Opus 5.5 video generator page.

08

Can I use the motion graphics commercially?

Yes. Everything you make on Motion AI Video is yours to use, including in ads and client work.
